Technical description: The installation is an inclined elevator (funicular) for passenger transport, manufactured by Leitner S.p.A., with a rail-guided vehicle and cable drive. It connects two stations with an elevation difference of approx. 22 meters, an inclined length of approx. 67 meters, and an average gradient of 34.5%.

The inclined elevator has one vehicle with a permissible capacity of 30 persons. It is driven by four hoisting ropes via a traction sheave and an electric motor with a power output of 30 kW. The rated speed is 2.5 m/s.

The vehicle consists of a load-bearing steel structure with side walls made of aluminum and safety glass. It is equipped with automatic sliding doors as well as the required control and safety devices.

The installation features a counterweight, a service brake, rail safety gears (rail brakes) for both the vehicle and the counterweight, overspeed governors, travel monitoring devices, and an emergency stop.
